All the shit they put in to try to stop piracy just ends up making the pirated version more appealing since it's all cut.
I don't want to fiddle with settings to get software to run or have to deal with a bunch of authentication server errors or what have you. It's been a constant annoyance ever since the old dos games where they've got some "what's the third letter of the fourth line on page 6" bullshit.

I noticed that rich players do not want to pay for shitty games. And via pirating players could test the games. And friends could recommend the games. Some pirated versions even work a lot better, due to removal of DRM and removal of needless server-connections.
