Sanity check guys, they created a blacklist and a whitelist. I wonder how many man hours went into this decision. Hopefully tweets made before this ban are grandfathered in.

But seriously, they don't grandfather anything, because Twitter's mod team is terrible. I remember reading an article where a longtime Twitter user got a tweet from like 2009 reported (2009 Twitter it was basically anything goes), and he got a suspension for violating current Twitter rules, even though it didn't violate the rules of the time.
