Definitely a scammer.

Why does it seem work intensive? They probably make a few thousand RMB for each person that falls for it, and they're chatting with several at the same time. Actually working seems more work intensive to me.

The person doing the talking probably gets paid 20-30 rmb an hour to chat with desperate guys like us and then there's some guy managing it all who probably make quite a lot of money (laundering/actually getting the money out of wechat etc)

because you were months on the loop for a chance to get you to buy into that stock, at least the shenzhen one seemed that way. I have never chatted longer than 15 minutes with anyone I didn't know so I don't really know, /u/fuckaye is the expert on those matters. Seems more work than an actual scam. It's faster to get guys to buy you bags, send hongbaos or other shit on the daily.

Sorry - I meant yours was almost definitely a scammer. OP's girls may or may not (probably are?) be scams no idea.
