Yes, in 1988.

In 2023 a flock of fifty gliding drones looking like a bird will land on your head and explode. Small arms fire is of no danger to hardened targets, so the scenario here doesn't exist anymore for high resource targets. Now, if you are vacationing in whatever retarded country then perhaps that would be of limited use.
