Not sure I'd trust corporate media like the Sun.
Yeah, studies and polls are often manipulated and interpreted to suit the aims of the ones conducting them.
Also it's a Fraser Institute study, and they have a very open and consistent agenda.

Before the WEF took over the governments of a LOT of ACTUALLY SOCIALIST countries (but not the retarded definition that's been brainwashed into the brains of the US population), things were going exceptionally well. You know why? Because of DEMOCRACY. There was a sense, by both politicians and citizenry, that the government existed to serve the people. Services, protection, etc.
Oh, by the way, the USA is socialist with regards to cops. It used to work fine. But now the WEF (or something else) has got their claws into the US deep state and it's turning into a shit show JUST LIKE THE PREVIOUSLY SOCIALIST COUNTRIES.
That definition you're using is ridiculously wrong. What about Hitler? He was about to install communism? I mean hey, his party was the National Socialists, surely he meant communism?
Anyway, it has nothing to do with capitalist vs socialist economies. No economy is purely capitalist, there's always some degree of socialism mixed in, or it quickly boils down to private slavery, unlike communism, which is public slavery. No, it has everything to do with DEMOCRATIC institutions. When the government starts PRETENDING you live in a democracy (or a republic), the end is near.

Of course they are. You are using the COMMUNIST PROPAGANDA definition of the word "socialism". Ever heard of Yuri Bezmenov? You should brush up on your history of communist subversion of the USA. It would do you lots of good, because right now you are serving their cause with the way you use these words.

Everyone twists the meanings of words to suit their agendas and weaponize confusion and communications.
Almost everyone, yes. I am just trying to set the record straight. I have done a lot of studying on the topic of language and disinformation.
OK let's make it very very simple.
Who first said, "Socialism is but a stepping stone to communism" (or something like that. I paraphrase.)?

I asked a question. We're talking about "socialism" and I'm asking about your demented definition of the word, now extremely widely accepted among the uneducated US masses. Let's hash it out, get to the bottom of things, and if I'm wrong, I'll apologize ok?

I wonder if this is really up from the past? In Canada, we have a strong tradition of being sympathetic to what some would call 'social democracy', which is more about government being involved in services like healthcare, and is less like the US's Democratic Socialist shitshow.
It's also not news that nobody wants to pay for it. The reason the Liberal party traditionally does so well here is that the Liberals campaign from the left and govern from the right, at least economically speaking. Trudeau's spending is an aberration where this is concerned.
