Why are you here, and how has pornography negatively affected your life?

Hey! Hello. I'm happy to see this sub. I just came by to say that.

Why am I here? I guess I have mixed feelings about, um, "pornography". I'm not sure how I feel about all "sex work," I hear there were nice "sex work" or whatever you want to call it stuff in the past. Idk that it's all bad. "Pornography" though I'm not a fan of, I think it's a degrading, desacrilizing practice. "Porn" means "prostituted slave" and I think the current activities and aesthetics of the pornography scene or movement or whatever you want to call it, are the continuation of that.

How has pornography negatively affected my life? Probably messed up my familymaking behaviors to some degree, though it's hard to tell.

I chose to make this subsaidit here as well because many of the Gender Critical communities moved here, and I wanted to give them a place to talk too. Plus, I feel like the original sub is at risk because the admins have a clear agenda by now. It'll be nice to already have a community going here when it happens.
