Also they left money next to vending machines they took drinks out of, with the notes saying "We are not thieves".

They've also been careful to protect the national library, and instead have focused entirely on the political parts of the building.

Lastly, the media and politicians are trying to convince people that the protesters have blocked ambulances, but there are videos showing the crowds parting for ambulances. The longer the crowd is directed, purposeful, and non-violent, the less control the government has. Everyone sees this, and they're doing an amazing job securing the exact demands they all want (cancelling the extradition bill entirely, not 'suspending' it), while harming nothing else.

It's as admirable as Iceland in 2008, or South Korea in 2016. People should really be paying attention to this. Our media is doing everything it can to downplay the demonstration of people power that this is. They don't want us learning by example.
