Remember when Covid-19 appeared, it was an unknown disease. Hospitals were being overwhelmed with patients. Now, more is known about the disease and many people have some type of immunity, either from vaccination or infection. Also, more is known about the vaccine. Its side effects and effectiveness. The CDC has already relaxed its isolation recommendation so it's more in line with the flu. The vaccination recommendation might also change to align with the flu.
