    Let's say the chief of the Israeli air force is in the room, at his desk, looking at a map of Gaza.

    We can guess what's going on in his mind by the orders he gives.

    If his orders were instead "let's conduct an anti-terror campaign" then the outcome would closer match reality.

    Hence by looking at reality we can conclude that his orders were not "let's terrorise and cleanse the region".

    You're not using reliable evidence in order to make your arguments. You don't know what Israel planned on the 5th. You cannot guess what's in the mind of the so-called 'chief of Israel'. You cannot reasonably argue against the facts in a report by bringing up hypothetical case studies. You cannot assume that the bombing campaign will result in the release of hostages (or indeed their survival). When news is posted, it's done so 'uncritically', as it's merely a link to the news, not a judgement by me. You cannot assume that - because there are some hospitals and churches that have survived the bombs - that no other hospitals or churches were targeted or damaged or destroyed.

    None of your arguments are reasonable. Try this: make an argument while linking to the evidence for it. Don't rely on logic, as it's not worked in this case, not at all.

    The major western powers are arming Nazis in Israel and in Ukraine. Their assessment that Hamas are terrorists is cover for their own acts of terror.

      The casualty numbers in the OP link are taken without critical thinking, directly from the terrorist propagandists.

      It's a given that Israel have a legitimate duty to remove hamas from existence. Hamas don't magically get to go on existing as a terror group, just because their control centers are near to churches.

      Hamas declared a war, retreated to a civilian area adjacent to a filled church, then prevented people from leaving, including with a roadside IED which you already blamed on Israel.

      Israel has a long history of attacking places serving as bomb shelters in Gaza. They also made a direct threat to bomb the hospital before they actually did bomb it.
