It said they cornered her in the bathroom and one actually put his hand inside her bikini bottom. That's a lot different than if all they did was touch her butt in public outside of her clothes and didn't trap her. Still not ok either way, but it was definitely more serious than just a quick touch.

Well, I touched a butt or two when I was a kid, but I'm not part of the incel generation, so back then butt-touching wasn't considered to be actual rape.

This is what the Kavanaugh hearing was all about. Some woman was like "When I was a teenager in the '80s I went to a party where everyone was drinking and he touched my butt," and I was like, "Yeah, duh, that's what happened in parties in the '80s."
