UK to train Ukrainian fighter pilots

Something doesn't make sense. Uk is training Ukranian pilots to fly the F-16 because it is their fighter of choice, but the UK does not use the F-16. The RAF does use the Eurofighter Typhoon. It is an excellent fighter. The UK should just supply Ukraine with the Typhoon.
