    They plan in timelines that span centuries

    Certain goals aren't expected to be achieved within the lifetimes of the planners.

    This is matched by generational wealth.
    The Rockefeller foundation is alleged to have 30 trillion dollars in assets.

    They manipulate governments, and they're beyond the reach of most. Literally.

    The actual centers of power exert their will upon the world from within the foundations.
