As a man what would be your choice, a high risk of catching ebola and bleeding to death out of every orifice or not having sex for a month?

Shit, not getting any pussy for a month sounds pretty terrible. Let it bleed.

One of my favorite albums.

The album was recorded during a period of turmoil in the band; Brian Jones, the band's founder and original leader, had become increasingly unreliable in the studio due to heavy drug use, and during most recording sessions was either absent, or so incapacitated that he was unable to contribute meaningfully. He was fired in the midst of recording sessions for this album, and replaced by Mick Taylor. Jones appeared on this album on only two songs, playing backing instruments, and died within a month of being fired. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Let_It_Bleed

I had forgotten this. Really tragic, especially considering Brian's contributions, age, talent &c. The addition of Mick T. was - it seems - perfect, under the circumstances, as he moved from John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, another exceptional band, and sadly a great loss for them. I think the Stones' best years ended partially with Brian's death, and definitely by the time of Mick T's departure. The last good album was Goats Head Soup, IMHO, though I had later albums and liked Some Girls, which was perhaps the Stones' best selling or most popular album. I also saw them in concert. But I digress....

I'll see myself out now.

Very sad news.
