Says who? I have had to deal with aggressive drunks before, including family members. I've punched more than a few of them in the face. I never got charged once.

No, I usually hit them once. If they try to get up again, then I just push them down on the ground. Its for their own good.

When dealing with violent drunks, you have to be careful. Don't let them get in your face, otherwise they might get you with a sucker punch. You won't even see it coming.
