They are highly restricted here in the UK, funnily enough we don't have much gun crime. Don't get me wrong, you can get one illegally if you really want to, but the fact that they're not everywhere does help.

you're knife crime is through the roof. Guns save far more lives, as evident by defensive gun usage. Plus they help in forming a militia of fellow citizens; they need boots on teh ground to enforce their crap.

And the US gun violence is literally the same as Europe if you remove suicides, and gang violence (which is just black males killing each other at literally insane rates, but super localized to inner cities)

Counting suicides as 'gun violence' is just dumb, but if you plot number of guns in US vs Europe, you'll find that the US is remarkably safe. If your hypothesis that the number of guns has an effect on deaths, then the US should literally have a murder rate that is 500 times higher

And then we have data from the 90s when Australia removed a bunch of guns, and the crime rate in the US went down at a higher rate, despite not removing guns and having way more of them

Some dude in an electric scooter in the Uk was just stabbed to death. Clearly violence is caused by issues other than inanimate objects
