My theory is the jumper lit the fire, then waited for the fire truck to come, and planned to jump onto or in front of the fire truck, but failed badly.

My theory is that he was a Trump supporter who had a 'come to Jesus' moment, realized he was a dumber than a sack of used dildos and did the only reasonable thing a Trumper can do.
