Literally no one is saying that. Really the only thing that the cops could have done better is maybe have the guy with the dog move away. They guy was clearly high as a kite and was saying he would comply if they took the K9 unit away (Hell, I'd be scared of an attack dog too).

I'm usually against the cops (If they're shooting people in the back and stuff like that), but this was a solid shoot. They really did give the guy multiple chances to comply and seemed to be rather professional when they were talking to the suspect. Hell, I'm actually surprised that they waited as long as they did to open fire. Sometimes there's just unfortunate situations like this where the cops have to shoot someone, and that's just something we'll have to live with in this country. What I'm against is things like the shooting of Daniel Shaver, or Jacob Blake, where the cops simply gun you down just because you didn't follow their commands properly.

I am usually against the cops in these situations too. But this time, I believe there is no other way it was going to turn out. They did give him plenty of chances to surrender. I guess there may be one or two good cops left.
