Employee does job, employee is not allowed to do job for doing job. I'm talking about the police. Whoever the fuck makes decisions like these needs to be let go.

Its standard procedure. The guys get paid time off while the dept investigates. With that body cam footage there is no doubt this will be ruled justified.

The standard needs to download an update! Cop does job, cop keeps job. Cop didn't do job? Cop doesn't get job, but cop does job and cop cannot be allowed back for what reason again? Stupidity? Yes. Things like this will lead to worse things. It's like when body cameras are introduced, things got complicated. NO. Stupid stepped in. Simply have the video reviewed. Is same-day asking too much? No, fuck no. Hurry the fuck up, police out there. Shit's stupid what you go through. Demand sense.

Killing someone, justified or not, can cause a lot of stress....

The only reason we'd have to worry about the cops that are on leave is if the active shooter was black. If the same events had unfolded with a black shooter, there'd be riots, the Walmart DC would have been burned down, and we'd have more chaos in the world.

My understanding of this video (only watched it once as of this) appears that the second officer may have shot him in the back, despite the first officer saying more than once the shooter had dropped his gun?

Or had he been shot already, and just ignored the officers until he dropped dead? Or did he shoot himself when he dropped the gun?

Bud if you can't tell he's been shot already by the time the second cop comes up you haven't been here long enough. I'll watch again n see if he was shot in the back, that caught my attention the first time but I thought it seemed too quiet.

Naa first cop hit him multiple times. They didn’t shoot again. Dude collapsed finally due to being shot the first time.

It's probably a technicality. If someone is actively shooting at cops, they're clear to be taken down, simple as that.
