A special surveillance camera in one of the shops in Jdeideh - Sad el-Bouchrieh (El-Matn) recorded a horrific killing and suicide, its corporal victims in the Lebanese army intelligence, Elias Salem and his girlfriend, Mary Kharmanowskian.

The video footage showed how Elias initially threatened his girlfriend after he prepared his pistol, then shot her head while she was working behind the accounting box, to return and within a few seconds, he would shoot his head, putting an end to his life.

At a time when the motives for the crime have not been announced yet, the Lebanese army has opened an investigation.

Interesting how after he shot himself in the head, his hand automatically went into "I have a headache" mode.

Sometimes people who shoot themselves in the head from the side like that miss the critical part of their brain, and don't die right away. My feeling is that if they're not completely limp, that this is what has happened.

yeah, everyone always says it's a painless death and it's just a nerve reaction but I've seen too many of these where it looks like the dude briefly really regretted the pain.
