the savage behead the doctor because his 95 years old mother's medical situation has worsen, he severed the left side of the doctor's neck and crushed her spine, she died the next day. the man is dependent on his mother's welfare check for a living. this happened at 24 dec 2019, was censored by china news media until recently

I've seen this a few times now, where someone tries to intervene, or they themselves are being attacked, but they don't seem to appreciate the seriousness of the situation. A murder is in progress, and they're like "hey man, let's take a step back and cool down". The best I can guess, their mind just can't accelerate fast enough from "normal day at work" to "a murder is in progress", they end up somewhere in between.
