I am guessing the blood was mixed in with the soil and by the time we see the extrication of his body from the machine, the blood is a non-factor. I always find it interesting to see these extrications because the body is so mangled that they have no concept of where to grab because parts of the body are not where they are supposed to be. I also admire their calmness under the circumstance. How many of us could do that after a co-worker dies horribly like that? Not sure I could.
