I've decided if they ever criminalize misgendering or deadnaming in this country (or any country I'm visiting) then I will concede to use their preferred pronouns, but I will mispronounce the shit out of them and/or use them with a different tone of voice. E.g. "Hey have you heard of Ellio Page? H-HEE was pretty - I mean A pretty... uh pretty decent... actre..oOR - actOR, back in the 00s."
