How do I explain that I’m trans and not just mentally ill?

I wonder how many of these men who claim to be 'thriving' after transition really are.

I unfortunately know many TW in real life (I'm involved in several subcultures that roll out the red carpet for them), and I can't think of a single one who is 'good'. They are all very clearly unwell, and it seems to get worse, not better, if they've had the surgery. I think it has to do with false promises of finally being a real woman, when all they get is the loss of their libido (who would've thought that chopping off your dick would do such a thing?), and a scar between their legs that will never, ever be an actual, real vagina - I have heard from a few TW that they don't even have normal feeling after the surgery because of nerve and tissue damage, let alone the possibility of sexual pleasure.

Yeah that's been my perception as well. The AGPs in my workplace seem to avoid eye contact and either keep to themselves or in their hugbubble.
