Or it's possible he did have something Wrong with his fingers and he was in great pain, and doctors just said it was in his head with this dysmorphia nonsense. And the guy went along with it just to get his painful fingers amputated. I knew a guy that had a lot of pain in his leg and wanted to get the leg amputated.
