I like how the headline makes it sound like the bill was supposed to ban them from athletics but read for 5 seconds and it's just to ban them from competing on opposite sex teams.

There's actually an argument to be made that cross sex hormones are a form of steroid and legitimately you should consider banning them from all athletics. A FtM is unlikely to displace boys even when on testosterone but then if you put them back on the girls team yes they are juiced up.

The Democrats have fallen in a trap. They’ve been goaded into going full Troon when the public is lukewarm to Troonery at best. Could have easily let it remain a fringe issue.

This won’t pay off for the Republicans immediately, but when the US catches up to Europe on the medicine stuff anyone supporting Troonery is fucked.

Easy solution, start private leagues for kids/teens and let public school athletics just die. Obviously the governor has no interest in serving the vast majority of his constituents in favor of kowtowing to special interest groups.
