Unfortunately, this opinion piece will only resonate with and be accepted by the people who are already aware of what's wrong with the vast majority of the trans rights insanity. The people who are firm TRAs will scream their usual "this is transphobia, this is genocide" rhetoric, and the uncommitted (or unconvinced) people in the middle will keep their heads down and say nothing for fear of being blasted out of existence (mostly by the left, but the right will heap shit on them too).
Rachel Levine, the assistant secretary for health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, told NPR in 2022 that “there is no argument among medical professionals — pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, et cetera — about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care.”
Well, that's not exactly a lie. Anyone who does try to dissent is driven out of the profession by a howling mob, which makes any sort of argument effectively impossible.
And then the top comment:
I would challenge Ms. Paul to put out a call for parents of transgender "children" who have been helped with their gender dysphoria with appropriate treatment. Most "move on" and go on to live successfull and happy lives. Why not write that story, Pamela? That story is out there, why focus on the ones who are trying to blame/sue others because they made poor choices and are looking to blame others?

Funny how the minority suddenly needs to be shutdown and ignored when it's critical of the desired narrative.

Well, it's in the NYT at least.

Yeah, that's a pretty major positive development. Other countries had stories like this 2-3 years ago and since then hormone or surgical treatment of under 18 youth have been halted. The truth is the greatest antidote to bullshit, and any truth in any major publication is part of the cure.

Seen a horribly oppressed transethnic otherkin blog their plight? Wept at how terrible it is for the suffering of multiple systems to go unheard every day? Been unable to even live with the thought of the identities of someone's headmates being cisdenied?
Then you've come to the right place!
Confused? Here's a moderately helpful dictionary of terms.
