Imagine being that mother. Imagine that you push your kid into transitioning. Then your kid "decides" that he or she is what he or she was born as.

You now have two options.

  1. Admit you were wrong and have ruined their life, and accept the consequences.

  2. Double down. Tell your child that they're just confused and that once they finish their "transition" they'll understand.

Not that i watch it, but from the little that I've seen, option 2 is what the mom of that poor Jazz Jennings kid seems to have taken. I wonder if he'll end up bringing her with him when the time comes?

I fully expect that will be the case. Jazz is going to explode one day and take her with him.

Really feel bad for that kid.

Like even if they're actually trans that media presence and pressure on you cannot be healthy. Every moment of your life there for everyone to see...that's my idea of hell and that's just all they've known.

Yeah. He didn't deserve that. Nothing but sympathy for him.
