Maybe because it is a delusion which has been validated by everyone in that person’s life, so anything that conflicts with it will be difficult for them to come to terms with.

Add in a bit of autisitic obsession and fixation and it goes a long way to explaining why so many troons and troonettes are batshit insane.

Theres no such thing. No amount of genital butchery and hormones will change your sex.
