From the article, they're literally admitting that they need children to believe in trans to increase their numbers.See this quote "We don’t need brain scans that cost thousands of dollars to legitimize or diagnose trans people; if we inform children about trans identities and remove stigmas that keep trans people marginalized, we can already validate the genders of trans kids free of cost simply by asking them who they are."

If there's some objective physical standard by which we can diagnose being "transgender" that's basically game over for the "movement" naturally. I very much doubt that there is (I reject the entire concept of "gender" as anything with a basis in material reality) but if there was, it would remove the ability of people to use "trans identification" as a way to supercede social norms.

It would also basically cement the notion it's a mental illness since if you can do a brain scan and figure it out that would be pretty conclusive as to it's mental nature.

Course I maintain that while sex based differences in brains likely exist on a statistical basis, since everyone is different anyway it's a pretty silly concept. Your brain is yours. I don't even know how you'd go about trying to figure out what is a typical "man" brain, or a typical "woman" brain.

Honestly there are some interesting links with grey matter and body identity integrity disorder, so it's possible that there's a link there with being trans too. Less of a man brain/woman brain thing and more of a your brain might be mapping itself wrong issue.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_integrity_dysphoria mentions it and I do think it'd be a useful avenue to explore due to how similar a lot of this sounds.

when was it again that they dumped dysphoria as a requirement? 2015? they even said "it's cruel to force people to have this painful condition to qualify!" (but then always invoking that pain whenever someone said no to them)

I mean it's almost George Lucas poetry how men-who-didn't-really-want-to-be-women and male-female couples chased the actual trans and gays out of the Alphabet

Completely idiotic. Sounds like a good way to clog up the medical system with people who don't need treatment. Like someone with dysphoria may actually benefit from therapy or research into the condition but any of the people not actually suffering will throw it off.
