I'm actually glad that CBC covered this to the extent that it did. It's full of mischaracterizations (ie LGB Alliance = hate group) but it represents the protesters in a pretty disparaging light. I've been following it all day. It was the top trending article for most of the day, and now they've quietly buried it to promote a human interest story about a guy who takes his goats shopping.

Protesting in this light has always just made the protesters look horrid so I've always encouraged them to use their right to make jackasses of themselves.

Thing is, if you need to shut someone up instead of arguing against their ideas, it just means you don't have an argument.

I've definitely had some one sided pointless arguments with people that are stubborn but, I'm convinced I'm right, I'm not worried about their ideas after I said my piece, they can keep saying what they want, I can keep saying what I want, let the strongest idea survive.

Only someone with no faith in their side will try to shut down the other.

I’m interested to know more about the man and his goats. Are they like loading up the mini van and going to Walmart or is he classy and going to the local market?

The goats. Looks like he's just out walking with them, and they like Tim Hortons' cinnamon raisin bagels.

Here, kill a few brain cells, 'cuz this is what our state-funded media considers newsworthy:
