Reddit grapples with the question. "Why don't trans-men playing in men's sports or raping men in men's bathroom make the news?" The answer of course, must be misogyny.

Even the strongest, fittest transman, even with the boost of artificial testosterone, isn't stronger than a schlubby, out of shape guy. They might beat the guy in a push-ups contest but they won't overpower him in a fight. So transmen can't go around raping men in bathrooms because they'd get the shit kicked out of them if they tried. And a highly athletic transman, with the boost of artificial testosterone, won't be any sort of match for an athletic man on a sports team. So the only way that transmen can ruin men's sports is if in contact sports the men hold themselves back knowing they pose a danger to the safety of the transman, which some men will do.

Seriously, I wonder how much of that crowd has ever had contact with the opposite sex. Like anyone who has playfought with an opposite sex partner knows the difference. Anyone who has played contact sports past puberty does too. It's all well and good to push equality but that doesn't apply to physicality and people being too dumb to realise they're different put themselves and others at risk.

I did martial arts in my 20s and despite being tiny, could hit and kick harder than all but one of the other women. I had no issues sparring with much bigger women. But any training with men was like training with a superhero. Even a small, slim man could overpower me with almost no effort.

That was pretty much my experience too. I did judo for a long time, so I know the point in puberty where you cannot match men anymore. It's genuinely a bit terrifying at that age because they don't realise their strength either and the ease at which they can manhandle you being so new is something else.
I know I can be decently competitive with women, but against men I'm basically a ragdoll. The only way I'm not is if they're holding back a lot which you know, means it's not competitive.

Women rape all the time. It just goes unpunished and unnoticed, for reasons. male disposability + women are wonderful effect

Yeah, sure, women totally rape a lot, what with their superior strength, their biology that makes it so easy to rape the other sex without consequences, and all that. All those statistics worldwide that say over 95% of sexual assault is commited by men makes no sense, because biology is only an opinion.
Oh, fuck off.

I think most sexual assaults by women don't constitute what would be considered "rape" by traditional methods. It doesn't take much force to convince a man to have sex.
Most cases I've seen involve older women taking advantage of underage boys. But the sex is "consensual" in the sense the male is a willing participant, even though it's statutory rape and clearly a case of grooming.
Otherwise I'm privy to a few cases where some woman has mounted an unconscious drunk man at a party and similar types of issues. I think it's far less common than the other way around, but I've known a few guys that were sexually taken advantage of by women at parties and emotionally blackmailed by the women afterwards to either keep them coming for more or keep them from reporting it.
Cause if you wake up with the girl you don't want on top of you, and they say they'll call the cops and tell everyone you raped them if you tell anyone. Most men are going to keep quiet to avoid trouble.
Personally I'm of the mind that when you've got some psychopath threatening to sick the cops on you. You should just call the cops first. But every guy knows some horror story where the girl beats herself up and gets the guy arrested. Don't think it happens that often, but I've dealt with psychopaths before so I'm pretty sympathetic to such stories, normal people tend to just assume such things won't happen until they're in a situation where it does. Same with the trans issue, most people assume that letting trans-people just use the restroom they want is fine, and 99% of the time it is because most people just want to get in and poop and get out.
But some people are psychopathic criminals and if you give them any vector to which to take advantage of society they will use it.

The difference in your scenario is that if a woman threatens you to call the cops, you can still choose to not have sex with her. If a man uses brute force to rape a woman, she doesn't get any choice on the matter.
You're right - most "rapes" done by women are not real rape, it's statuatory rape - the male is still a willing partecipant even if it's quite creepy that a woman would want to have sex with a boy. Still not rape as in real rape.
Men like to brag about being stronger than women, but they become complete whimps when it comes to admit what are the BAD sides of being male. And it's males who do the raping and violence.

Yes and I think they should, and frankly I think they should call the cops first. But have some empathy for people in that situation.
If you are in the man's position there what do you choose? Do you go along with it against your will because of the threat. Or do you risk arrest, social ostracization from your friends and colleagues, and potential destitution?
Women certainly suffer far more severely from the consequences of rape then men simply from a physical standpoint and I won't argue that. But men can be victimized as well and when they are they are often painted as the victimizers and put into very difficult situations with few good options for resolution.

Men can be victimized too, but it really does feel like a tendency to forget women once more: when there's talk about sexual assault and some incel screeches about "but sometimes women rape too!!", it feels a lot like when there's talk about women issues and discrimination and some trancel screeches about "but how about transwomen??".
Which, of course, makes me sound like a jerk as, in self-defense, I have to answer in a way that sounds as if I were dismissing men who were sexually abused. So, those incels ruin it for just everyone.

It's like breast cancer. It's not a women's issue in the sense it exclusively effects women, but women are by and away the most likely to suffer from it.

They don't count most rape by women as rape. And even brute force is rarely accounted for. Actually, depending on the area it's legal for women to rape men. We are in denial any time a woman does something wrong. But when a man is accused he isn't even given a chance, it's guilty until proven innocent.
Do you think a man's strength is going to save him if there's a gun pointed at his face? If he's getting blackmailed? If he's being drugged? What about the fact that he'll face worse charges than his attacker for defending himself? Your view of men and women is the strawman that comes from the media: all men are monsters and rapists and all women are holy innocent angels who do no wrong.

You dismiss me like that because you don't have any evidence against what I'm telling you. You probably want to view men as violent pigs and rapists, and women as innocent victims.
