Chipper the fucking lot of them, every single doctor that prescribes this shit to children. Mengele motherfuckers.

With both LGBT Consortium and Mermaids saying they're not medical experts, even though they've obviously been giving out medical advice, or at the very least steering individuals towards medical services this whole thing is starting to feel like a way less funny version of WKUK's RC Glow sketch. They're basically pulling the medical equivalent of "That's for finance to figure out" and expecting that will absolve them of any guilt.

Yes the "I'm not a medical expert." dodge.

"You do know that gender affirming surgeries will result in sterilization correct?"

"I'm not a medical expert."

I'm sorry it doesn't take a medical expert to know that surgical removal of the reproductive organs results in sterilization. Like using this dodge basically is admitting that you don't know where babies come from like you're some five year old who still thinks that Mr. Stork is real. Which even if we assume that you are just that stupid and telling the truth it just confirms that you have no business running anything that deals with children or adults for that matter. But you expect the audience to buy that? Perhaps you really are as retarded as you pretend to be?

I think it works in court because the only people who may give opinion/speculation-based answers to questions whilst testifying are those that have been accepted as experts by the court. Everyone else is required to confine their answers to fact.

It's a fact that that removing someone's sexual organs sterilizes them. If you've got a different opinion I've got a magic goose that lays golden eggs ready to sell to you for the low low price of 10,000 dollars. What a steal.

Yes, but it is my understanding that, as this is courtroom testimony, if you’re not accepted as an expert by the court then you get to say “I’m not an expert” as a way to dodge even the most obvious questions. And, it works the other way too, you don’t get to speculate or offer opinions outside the areas in which you have been accepted by the court as an expert (which for most witnesses is no areas, because most witnesses are not experts).

It’s all well and good saying “well it’s obvious…” but when extremely serious issues hang in the balance courtroom procedure is important.
