chemical reaction can make someone the wrong gender but a chemical reaction can't create 2 separate people sharing a body?

The chemical imbalance theory? That just got trotted out to sell billions of dollars in antidepressants that don't work. I don't think you'll find any "serious psychiatrists" advocating for it anymore, that myth is busted.
