Isn't breast feeding a gender neutral term anyway? Men have "breasts" they just aren't the same as women's breasts obviously but the breast is a different thing than the chest. Both men and women have a "breast" and a "chest".

This whole controversy is beyond retarded. If you're offended by the term breast feeding you're just an idiot who doesn't deserve to be taken seriously.

The point is to create verbal markers to show who is in the in group and who is in the out group.

That's why they keep changing the acceptable language, they don't want to be inclusive but exclusive.

Male lactation is typically a sign of cancer. But the word breast doesn't exclusively refer to the mammaries.
