Reddit and a lot of the general male-driven internet has this super nasty habit of thinking that every woman alive is afforded the privileges, adoration, and protection of Stacy. Guys offline don't always seem so daft but maybe their just better at keeping it to themselves

I saw what happened to these people the past week. Blatant cheating by the hands of the HAVES to prevent the HAVE NOTS getting ahead. Incessant 24 hour gaslighting. People talking to them like they are fucking stupid despite clear evidence of manipulation. People with media pulpits broadcasting blatantly false information with the traders having no equal platform to counter on the same medium and reach. Government agencies that are supposedly supposed to protect them with the law standing by and allowing egregious actions to occur and not intervening as quickly (or at all) like they would for deep pockets.

The familiarity with these feelings and despair in the comments is striking. Women who are drawn to spaces like this know exactly what I'm talking about. I mentioned this the other day on a PPD server where some douchebag with what seems like no life experience proceeded to lecture me about how it works for women like me.

Same exact condescension and abuse of power in a system built for them, protects them, then tells you to support it bs it "supports you" in no meaningful way. All they really do is make you shut up. For the traders, thus was Robinhood and other brokers shutting off the ability to buy shares the trader had every right to buy with no recourse.

The worst part is if you're not particularly interested in SJW shit bc it has become a weird hobby for grandstanding to some people, you are still in a corner. Because you really do see the oppression you live and try to defend yourself, the less empathetic gender (just like the powers that be) will just think you're on some fucking internet crusade. They will never feel badly for you like you do them. Amongst those traders on r/wallstreetbets, I see at least some of them from other subs who spend their internet careers talking shit and demoralizing us. It still bothers me to see them feel the same powerlessness in a way they can finally understand. It was always fucked up. Trufemcels always knew these feels and continue to be told we are wrong. Guess the traders must be wrong for calling out unfair practices and abuse too.

Please no "not all" arguments. Common sense already covers that part

Most men on these online spaces, particularly reddit and saidit, are typically sheltered white men that lack empathy and real life experience.

The only women that exist to them are average + white women up to the age of 25, the only group of people where the life on easy mode meme could ever be thought of applying.

They're aware that WOC and older women are around but we're simply NPCs to them; scenery in the background of their life's play.

I can't be too offended by what these people say because they don't know shit or care about my existence in any way, shape or form and as such their opinion means less than nothing to me.

    On the bright side, it has helped rally the crypto market and decentralized exchanges. What happened to those GME traders is horrible, they were robbed, but it opens up opportunities elsewhere.

        Your opinion is invalid. I will also add i can point to all sort of deformed or short or unattractive or poor men with wives and children or relationships. If women can't be lonely because you've seen someone you don't like have someone then by your own reasoning, neither can you men.
