Jules Joanne Gleeson, transgender-identifying historian who focuses on ancient eunuchs for JSTOR Daily, writer at New Socialist and co-author of the soon-to-be-released book Trans Marxism, is fighting to abolish families. The activist insists the family unit is a tool of “transphobes” to decrease the number of “(out) trans people,” and the family can be replaced with “unchecked” queer bonds.

Trans Marxism, lol. At least they are honest.

Listening to these idealist morons makes me hate to call myself a Marxist. What happened to a philosophy based on reality? Postmodernism, that's what.

He's not an idealist, he's a predator. He wants to create conditions that increase the number of vulnerable children.

I mean philosophical idealism, i.e. that ideas are superior to reality in shaping the world.

As you should.

No, I have read Marx and his grasp on the reality of historical economy is flawless. So were most early Marxists.

Marxism was diluted and dismembered by postmodernist philosophers in the mid-20th century, which has filtered down to most "leftists" and "Marxists" in the west, resulting in endless navel-gazing about pronouns and sex and gender and who has read more obscure theory. Postmodern thought and Marxism are fundamentally incompatible, since one is by definition a notion of historical narrative, and the other postulates that historical narratives, and even the notion of "truth", are false and unknowable. These are those who I do not side with, not actual Marxists fighting for a proletarian revolution based on material conditions and reality or fighting for mass class consciousness. I am not ashamed of them, they are my comrades. Though I see what you're trying to imply there, right-winger most likely.
