I don't believe this.

Netflix subscribers stream for 93 minutes a day, 10h51m a week

This government survey found men have 5h30m of leisure a day, women 5h.

Plus it just doesn't sound right intuitively.

The figure does seem over the top. It's probably a survey from April 10th-15th; immediately before their return needs to be filed...

Survey: Why are you filing your taxes at the last minute?
Response: Each day I only get 1 hour of sleep, and 29 minutes of leisure!

On the others hand, a govt survey suggesting that most people have plenty of free time is exactly what is expect from a well oiled propaganda machine.

It suggests thanks if you have no time then it's your fault, cause everyone else is relaxing on their off time.

I'm fairly confident that Netflix running unwatched in the background is a probable norm.

Thanks for the input. I was a little indifferent to it, but have really enjoyed the input from others. The greatest takeaway I get from this, is the real idea of time. It really is precious.
