It's always impressive to see mankind's ingenuity when pushed. It's even more amazing that when push came to shove, in Syria's homeland, the people prevailed against a very well funded, trained, and created group.

Thinking on this, the question I have, is when 'nation building' in modern terms means destruction for anyone standing in the way of profit, and this model has just been defeated, when does the pied piper come home to collect on the debts owed?
