I opine that this story has it partly right; our schools educate, they don't convey knowledge. Education to me, is basic indoctrination. While knowledge are the few grains of necessary information necessary to put food in your belly, and shelter overhead. In schools anymore, we learn stupid how to be compliant within a police state. Schools seem to put us on auto pilot, almost educating to not use your Critical Thinking Skills.
Why not just go back to reading, writing, and arithmetic? If you topped that off with 'government contract law'; what couldn't most people accomplish?
It would certainly be better than the current depravity. Just saying.
