Seriously? Sure does seem almost like they were out for a lawsuit before the silverware was on the table. Sad for the baby.

Why would any parent leave boiling hot water where it can be reached by a baby? And If the utensils weren't clean enough why didn't they just send them back for clean ones?

The family had requested hot water to sterilize utensils. After a server brought it to the table, the baby was able to pull the hot water onto himself.

"This is a family restaurant. They should have known better," Sanford Rubenstein, the family's attorney, said. "This shouldn't have happened."

I think the attorney saw the happening in the news and contacted the family, does the case pro-deo because if he succeeds he gets an % (and the win could be potentially very, very big).
