Really cynical post headline.

It's a very nice program, assuming those who are getting the support genuinely need it and will spend that on their kids. Those first years of a kids life are of course so important for their general health and intelligence the rest of their lives.

I agree, IF it is being used right and IF we can make sure it's used right.

I'm a liberal because I think welfare is excellent IF DONE RIGHT.

We shouldn't give these people cash, we should give them that which can ONLY be used correctly. Like food stamps or vouchers that cannot be used for anything BUT certain things.

Also, if the mother is caught eating her kids food or taking their pills, she gets electric chair. Zero tolerance.

That's how I would run America.
