White wokes are now pushing for the law to change so trials are heavily weighted against the defendant.

Who's that going to hurt going forward?

In my neck of the woods judges tend to grant low bail to black defendants so they can go back to the hood where 2 to 3 of them die of lead poisoning every weekend. The rumor is it costs less in the long term if they die instead of go to prison.
