It's certainly a possibility.

How many hits have the studios had over the past couple of years?

I don't know why writers and actors think there's loads of extra money floating around from looking at the market so maybe they are getting that idea from the studios pretending streaming is bringing in the big bucks.

Yep, and I think it's odd that this major strike isn't getting much attention. (Please also post in one of the very few subs that users will see.)
