The decolonisation of mathematics

Authors found "some prima-facie evidence of discrimination in the descriptive statistics on the representation of ethnic minorities in academic roles in UK higher education". While they admit that while there "may be some benefit in teaching the history of mathematics, but that this should be weighed against the opportunity cost".

Conservatives live from past, progressives from (promises of) future and they tend to censor the past. Future can not be censored, hence the progressivism gets systematically more totalitarian than the conservatism and as such against AWT theorem that information "wants" to remain free. While the censorship in non ideal social system may be necessary, the distance from ideal arrangement can be measured just by its level of censorship.

The proper response to someone who says hard sciences need decolonizing is to point at them, laugh, and make rude noises to mock them. This does not deserve a polite response.
