I've been thinking of something you wrote a while back, when one of our cops got gunned down. You said your city's response would have been more prolific. I keep thinking the only people in my city who care about our cops never had to deal with them.

I just sold my wife's car yesterday for cash. We had to get that into the bank asap because if we had been pulled over the cops would have stolen it. Legally stolen, civil forfeiture.

They literally steal money. You can't have $100 or more. They'll claim it might have been for drugs and take it.

What? Where the fuck do you live? I know a lot of crooked police jurisdictions pull this shit but damn. Our cops take care of us before they take care of themselves. We got good cops and Gigabit FIber Optic Internet.

Houston, cops like to help themselves to the stuff in your car too, but you get picked up, your cash disappears unless you only had a few bucks on you. Over $100, that shits theirs now.
