The only reason MADD is still around is to pay their executive's salaries. After all the drunk driving laws were passed and the cops cracked down the founder wanted to close up shop since the job was done. They fired her and drove on.

MADD keeps trying to lower the DUI threshold. At .08, a mere one or two beers can make you legally drunk. The .05 MADD wants as the next step is even more ridiculous.
