You're condemning an innocent hotel worker to a lifetime of nightmares.

Have you notified your family? They would probably appreciate saying goodbye, etc.

What is your terminal illness?

I tried several times, but when I did I was in a very bad way, not able to research and fortunately not stupid enough to try anything that left me worse but alive. Obviously I lived.

As I began to get better I made sure to research when I could. So If I ever fell again I could do it right and without errors.

For example, I learned that hanging isn't as simple as the media would lead you to believe - and that there are two methods. The short drop and the long drop. Neither sound good.

I also learned about the Hemlock Society for compassionate ethical dignified endings. You might want to check out their resources. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Hemlock+Society

I don't recall coming across any of the stuff you mentioned and that stuff seems complicated.

Renting helium tanks for parties is easy enough and there are ample instructions out there on how to do it effectively. This would be in my top options if I ever come to that again.

One of the concerns many folks have is how the body will be discovered. For example, some people don't want their families to find them with a helium bag over their heads. Most other solutions are more complicated.

I hope you find compassion, relief, and peace whatever happens.

I agree with Tom, it's really inconsiderate to leave your body for someone else to discover; not to mention the possible business side effects. Having that said though, from what I've heard, you're not alone in the idea of using a hotel; it's common.

My take on death, it's just a passageway; even the worst ways to die, end eventually; if you really want to die, nothing will stand in your way.

My only suggestions, don't do something where others will end up restricted as well. Ether is what they used to sedate people with, and I know it'll snuff out injured animals.
