Let me know if you need some help with admin duties!

I am recruiting a non-admin anti-spam team. Tell me when spam is posted, and I will make you a "spam only mod" there, and then you can combat spam in that sub from there on out. Once you are a mod in a few places, you can also check this page to see spam reports: https://saidit.net/s/mod/about/modqueue/

To be on this team your account must be at least 6 months old.

How effective is it when I click the report button for "spam" when I'm just browsing through /all? I feel like I report a good amount of the obvious prescription drug ones and dating and the like.

Should I apply to be a part of this team? I just call it as I see it on here. I don't mod any large subs, or stuff like that.

when you report a post as spam, a site admin(such as d3rr) will need to be online to deal with these spam reports.

there is another alternative...

allow any user to submit a comment in that thread that consists of a the following single word: "spam"..

then, the admin would already have a chrome extension running on his server that would look for posts that contain perhaps five "spam" comments and then his chrome extension would automatically delete that post.

as a security feature, to prevent people from scamming this feature and incorrectly flagging legit posts as spam, perhaps his chrome extension would only pay attention to "spam" comments from users that have been approved to submit such request comments.

i have already been warned to chill the fk out.
