I got a message from youtube saying ill be banned

I knew youtube shadowbanning was real but i didnt know it was like this. ai got a message from youtube saying my comments were violating tos and id be unable to make comments or even have my account deleted if i kept it up. Which is odd because my comments arent particularly bad. I just called some guy a retard after he said id never experience true love.

I agree this is ridiculous, but social media platforms have been going after any discriminatory sounding language for a long time. I agree it isn't that bad, but I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money their TOS includes not using any ablist/racist/homophobic etc language and covers pretty much all of the socially accepted identification categories (I'd bet they hypocritically allow people to make fun of people identifying as incels though). I would assume that any of the mainstream social media sites you might be using have a policy like this

I don't know who that is, I mainly just listen to music on youtube, but I have no doubt they are selective and arbitrary in enforcing their policies
