Best places to find Retropi roms?

I've found a few sites but a lot of the best games seem to be locked down, as in the links exist but they have copywrite messages on screen and you can't actually download.

Why not a torrent site? If you own the game, you are allowed to download a copy of it.

The only thing I own is an RPI3. I haven't bothered with torrenting anything years. I guess I'll try that as a last ditch effort if I can't find anywhere else.
